The Experience.
The Experience.
Working with Kambo is not about force or quick change.
It’s a process of listening to the body, to what’s been building,
and to what’s ready to shift.

What is Kambo?
What is Kambo?
Kambo is a traditional Amazonian practice that works with the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor, also known as the giant leaf frog.
From a scientific perspective, the secretion contains bioactive peptides that interact with the body and trigger a strong physical response.
From a traditional perspective, it is understood as a process of cleansing, helping to release toxins, clear physical and emotional blockages, and restore a sense of balance.
The experience itself is often intense but short.
For many, what follows is a feeling of clarity, lightness, and a renewed connection to the body.

What happens in a session.
What happens in a session.
Every session begins before the day itself, with a conversation.
This is a space to understand your intention, your health, and whether working with Kambo is appropriate.
On the day, the process begins slowly.
There is time to sit, have tea, and arrive into the space before anything begins.
From there, the session may include:
Rapé - a grounding practice using sacred tobacco to calm the mind and bring focus
Sananga - traditional eye drops that can help reset the nervous system and bring clarity
Kambo - applied through small points on the skin, working both physically and energetically
The most intense part of the experience is usually brief.
Afterwards, there is time to rest, lie down, and allow the body to recover. Before leaving, there is space to reflect and ensure you feel steady and grounded.

Kambo is not suitable for everyone.
There are certain conditions where it may not be appropriate, including heart conditions, pregnancy, recent surgeries, and some psychological conditions.
These are discussed carefully beforehand.
If it is not safe or appropriate, the answer is always no.

Who is this for.
Who is this for.
There isn’t one specific type of person this work is for.
It often resonates with people who feel ready to go deeper - those who sense that something more fundamental is asking for attention.
What matters most is openness, honesty, and a willingness to engage with the process.

Integration & Aftercare.
Integration & Aftercare.
The session itself is only one part of the process.
Afterwards, there is a period of integration, where the experience begins to settle.
Guidance is provided around rest, hydration, and gentle practices such as journaling or reflection. Support remains available if anything comes up in the following days.

Kambo meets each person differently.
The best way to understand whether it is right for you is through a conversation, a space to ask questions, understand the process, and see how it feels.
